Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The apartment itself is nicely furnished with a comfortable sofa, bed & well equipped kitchen & bathroom. I enjoyed my stay at the apartment as it's location is a mere ten minutes walk to central Bologna & Piazza Maggiore and additionally has many nearby shops & a supermarket five minutes walk away.
Negative: The arrangements to access the keys for the apartment were somewhat bizarre; rather than having a key lock box outside the apartment on the wall near the access gate, the lock box was attached to a random bicycle on the nearby main road!! I found the apartment itself fairly easily but finding the lock box was much more problematic mainly because in the WhatsApp description it wasn't written to look for the lock box attached to a bike (!!) & equally as it was such a random place to have it. Why not simply & logically have the box on the wall outside the actual apartment? 🤔🫣 Other smaller quibbles would be the lack of hand wash in the bathroom (shower & shampoo were there) & lack of tea towels in the kitchen. These smaller 'attention-to-detail' elements were missing but overall the apartment was good.
Summary: Nice apartment with a few improvements required to make it really good!
